  1. March Colon and Rectal Cancer Awareness Month activities
    • Fecal Occult Blood Test campaign 1200 slides distributed
    • 20 Free screening colonoscopies at Battle Creek Endoscopy and Surgery Center (Pre cancerous polyps found in 4 individuals)
    • 15 Free Sigmoidoscopies at Colon and Rectal Surgery Center
    • Employee Education at major employers
    • Table displays at BCHS, Burnham Brook, Oaklawn
    • Feature article Battle Creek Enquirer
    • Letters to editor
    • Television appearance on BC TV Question and Answer
  2. Primary Care Physician and Staff Education
    • Lunch and Learn Program
    • CME/CEU
    • 15 presentations total
  3. Participate in Health fairs with presentations and displays

    • Posters in physician offices telling patients to ask their physicians

  1. Hosted “COCO” at Calhoun Health Fair visited by 2400 people
